I believe that with determination, discipline and dedication, all people have the gift of song within them! I love helping youth and adults find their authentic voices and practicing the art of singing. If you have ever wanted to sing, but aren't sure where to start, reach out! I love working with both beginners and experienced singers, and I bring joy, comfort and ease to every lesson!

It's hard to put into words my experience at Tim Welch Vocal Studio. Amazing, wonderful, fun, insightful, challenging, and effective are all adjectives I can use to describe working with Kat my instructor, but she's so much more than all of those adjectives. She really meets you where you are and encourages you to move out of your comfort zone. She definitely takes a holistic approach to vocal instruction. She takes the time to get to know you and why you're taking lessons, and then she walks with you on the journey. She's awesome!

Kat is Amazing! She is so encouraging and very knowledgeable about singing. Having a great experience at Tim Welch Vocal Studio. My instructor, Kat, is great! She’s not only knowledgeable and supportive, but makes each session fun and all about my voice, my style, and exploring how to best develop and expand whatever strengths and talents I bring to the table - rather than trying to fit me in some predetermined box.
Four words: Kat is the best. If I had to say a little more though she is super knowledgeable, great teacher, and just all around awesome. Highly recommend working with Kat to better understand your voice!

At 56, I’m in my first punk band and taking my first vocal lessons. I was just looking to sing with a bit more power and try something new. Kat is a wonderful teacher—really supportive and encouraging. I’ve gained a lot more confidence and learned so much from her.
